Description

The Quiet After Thought began as part of a diptych, with glass applied directly to the painted surface. The composition moves through blue, teal, white, gray, and deep navy, with the main painted form sweeping diagonally across the canvas like a fractured current or frozen wing. The glass adds a sharp dimensional quality, catching the light and giving the piece an edge that is both delicate and dangerous.
