Personality

Description

Within the painting, there is a small demon-like creature that appears to reach outward, as if trying to grab and feed on the grief inside the work. That visual cue gives the painting its tension. The grief is not only present; it feels watched, hunted, and pulled at by something darker.

Eclipsed Heart is about grief becoming visible through abstraction, and about the strange forms that can appear when pain is given a surface to move through.
